One of the Riviera's I'm parting out came wtih the motor and tranny set in place, they'd put new gaskets and painted the motor, dropped it and the tranny in, not installing the converter or hooking up the drive shaft. I'd like to hook it up and run it. I went to slide the drive shaft yoke on and it gets stuck half way ono No: It's a bit of a brute to say the least, to wiggle tha motor tranny around and try to get the yoke on, then for it to get stuck half way :blast:  Bruce
Look on the inside of the yoke where the splines are and make sure they splines arent rusty. Make sure there's no foreign material in there also. If the outside has any rust, take some emory cloth and clean it up. The yoke should slide right in normally. Putting that driveshaft in general is a PITA.
