Hi, I took some photosd of my recent trip to Newark. I first went to Oakland where there was a '72 Skylark 2 dr hardtop. There wasn't much left except maybe a passenger fender. The interior was stripped and although the AC suitcases were still present, the engine side was cracked and the passenger side had white paint overspray (somebody painted the dash white).

So I drove to Newark. There is a '69 Skylark Custom that it looks like someone was painting and gave up on (overspray and poor masking). Both fenders have rust on the bottoms and the driver side has the lower Skylark trim. The rear bumper looked okay although it might have some overspray like the front bumper. The '77 Regal looked in really good shape. I think the trunk area/ lights were also good. The front Bench had a very small hole on the passenger bottom. There is a sale at Pick-N-Pull until Monday (1/16/11). Wayne

    Wayne,
Get that 77 Regal tilt column....easy resale item.

As for the 69....if it has decent black seat belts.....the set will be a good resale item...black belt set is always in demand

    George,

Thanks for the tips. I pulled out a pretty good front bumper out of a '72 Skylark that will be up for sale/ trade shortly. I would have pulled more out but I got to the bay three hours later than I had planned to. The column looked great and I did pull the steering wheel but I saw the shaft was different (D shaped). I have a '70 tilt out of a wildcat that I would like to put into the Sportwagon. I wish I knew what the differences are between a and b body tilts for those years. I live in the Central Valley CA so it makes getting out to the bay difficult so I just want some of our members to get a good heads up. Wayne
