I have a 69 Skylark and I think it might have the wrong hood hinges on it. The hood doesn't go up very high at all.. much lower than my 70. I was told that I could use 69 hinges and this should allow the hood to open more. Anyone have a pair of 69 hinges for a reasonable price? Thanks Bob
It sounds like you may have 68 hinges on your 69. 68 hinges are a major PITA, just ask my scalp! I swapped in 69's a couple years ago, they make a huge difference from the 68 hinges. I do not believe you can use 70+ hinges on a 68/69 car. I'm a little cofused by your statement "I was told that I could use 69 hinges...". ??? Since you are working with your 69 Skylark? Anyway, sorry I don't have a spare set of 69's, but someone here should be able to help you out. There are some around for sale now and then.
