I stopped on the way home from work to check this out. Description: Body looked OK... was painted some kind of late model orange about 2 years ago (according to owner). Seemed somewhat solid- didn't look it over all that well. Big cowl induction scoop. Says he also has a "stage 1" hood for it (I'm sure he meant GS hood). Had a 70 455 small valve motor with a Poston GS113A cam, headers, S-divider, 750 barry grant, HV oil pump. Guy said the motor was low miles, and they replaced the stock pistons with flat tops (no bore or hone??? yikes). Motor sounded good. 3 or 4" exhaust exiting before the rear tires. Chevy 12 bolt. Claimed there is a new Eaton Posi unit in it. Interior was ok. Bucket seats and console. It looked complete- seats were ripped. Looks like someone used interior paint to change the color from blue to black. It was coming off in places. Bumpers were rough- not super straight either. Fenders have new bottoms welded on- no grilles. No body line chrome. Door panels had 2 after-market speakers installed in each. Now for the best part: The guy has 12,500 written on the for sale sign! I asked him what he is trying to get out of it, and he said 9. I was thinking I wouldn't pay more than 3500 (more like, 2500), but of course I didn't tell him that. He did have a tattoo of this car on his forearm, orange and all. Seemed like a nice guy. Car is on Newton Falls road, right at the top of the hill half way between Ravenna and route 5. ________ Uggs
