Found the rubber isolators/bushings at RockAuto. Looking for source for metal isolator brackets that bolt to frame? New would be nice, but I would have no issues with a used pair I can mediablast and refinish. TY JIM/ROTT
Bruno, I need a set for my 70 stage car.. I am in az for the winter. Still 2 weeks. How much and shipping to 85207. Thx byron
Ifya could pull the best pair out and lemme know what ya think is fair for em shipped to Hooksett NH 03106 , I would appreciate it. No rush , Jim/Rott PS: anyone have a source for new?
Good idea, Duane. Got Bruno looking thru his inventory for good used pair, was hoping there was a source for new. Old will be fine, I'm old, and I work better than most ,if not all younguns today!
Oh, yah! SURE -- just what I needed too back in 2004 for the '69 convertible. So, I never got around to installing the '72 rebuilt 455 from FliteLine in Arkansas and the TH400 from US Speed Research and Ken Klazura in Cudahy, Wisconsin. Anyway, these are the same for the 1968-72 chassis and probably for other applications as well. They claim to fit 1964-72 General Motors A Body vehicles including Monte Carlo and probably the Grand Prix too -- I wonder what 16U135 means -- it must be the Part Number used by GM Classic Parts out of Bowden, Georgia, y'all, the folks listing the parts: TRANSMISSION CROSS MEMBER INSULATORS NEW 64-72 A BODY 16U135 http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRANSMISSIO...Model:Monte+Carlo&hash=item1e9cc15f9a&vxp=mtr Strange: I selected the Year, Make, Model, Engine, etc. for my 1969 Buick GS Stage 1 convertible 400 three-speed with consolette and the listing says it duddn't fit that there sucker. Wonder what's up with that! • Do you know if the parts different for a convertible, as the crossmember is different? THANKS! Take care.
