My own stupidity strikes again. I send out $1000 deposit for the purchase of the quarters ($750), the complete front clip ($1000), and the rear wheel houses ($250). Then I leave my house at 3a.m. Friday Nov 4 and drive 360 miles so I can meet Rick (user name Blue Suncoupe) in Des Moines, Iowa to pay the balance ($1000) and pick up the parts. I then leave Des Moines for my 360 mile hike home. Seeing as how I'm in a hurry to get the parts loaded and get back on the road, I don't happen to notice the booger welded and fiberglassed patch panel in one of the quarter panels until I am unloading the trailer the next day. So I guess "rust free" means we all just need to take our rotted body panels, patch em up, glass em in, and sell them as "rust free"! Man do I ever hate geting duped. Another lesson learned...
One pic show a patch or two on the quarter that is shown on the inside, that the one? Seems like they are still pretty nice judging from the drops they look great. Sorry this happened this way. I have only a couple bad experiences here compared to other sites. I wish I could take the blue car off your hands right now I really like the color combo on it.
