Hi Guys, looking for a new shell for my project. The more I keep unbolting on mine the more rust magically appears. Located in the 74006 Oklahoma area, don't mind traveling a little bit but would like it close. 2 Door Hardtop Base/Custom/GS does not matter only the price does, just would like a new body so I can keep my project rolling.
...AND.... If for whatever reason Jims offer doesnt work out, I have a 72 GS project that I MAY, consider separating body & chassis. The Chassis has gone thru an extensive EVERY NUT AND BOLD professional RESTORATION...and needs nothing... The body is a 72 GS VERY SOLID... take a look here: http://www.v8buick.com/showthread.php?284476-1972-Gran-Sport-455-PROJECT IF you have any interest, email me direct, PenWheelz2@ij.net Wheelz, Tampa Bay
wheelz, That is a very clean car but just a bit out of my budget, wouldn't seem right to separate the two!
Might want to look up "Rustbusters" salvage, in Weatherford (OK) if they are still in business. Stopped in there close to a decade ago to look at some chevelle rollers, remember it was in the 85 to 90 milepost area on the south frontage on interstate 40. Guessing that is midway between elk city and the yukon/mustang area west of okc.
Hey Mike...as per reply #4 THINK ON THIS: The CHASSIS is PERFECT, complete AND ready for a motor.. I've performed all the work thus, saving you a lot of time and investment on your own. The BODY is dern near rustfree, a few weeks of tweaking and finishing and it would be ready for paint. YOU would be further ahead than trying to ressurect your rusty car.... and PERHAPS less of an overall investment in the long run. plus I would consider for fuel expenses, delivering it, meeting with you in Mobile/Pensacola area. Think about it! I'm just say'n. :Smarty: Wheelz, Tampa Bay
