The car is a 1970 GS 455 Convertible with the build sheet, which was decoded by Duane Heckman. Its a non-stage that was built in Flint, MI. Car is mostly disassembled and has an excellent original body and some rare options. I began disassembly right after I bought it in 2003 and have never registered it. I have an open, signed Illinois title from the previous owner. All sheet metal body parts are rust-free OEM (although they have accumulated some surface rust from storage). All the body and suspension parts were plastic media blasted and put in primer, paint or powder coated as appropriate. The powder coated chassis is assembled using new and reproduction parts and is a roller. Some highlights noted on the build sheet are: Tilt Column Power Windows Disc Brakes Bucket Seats Automatic Transmission Floor Shift Non-A/C Power Steering AM Radio Sherwood Green Exterior Color Black Interior Color Black Convertible Top Color Goodyear G-60-15 Tires w/ Dog Dish Hubcaps and Chrome Trim Rings Open Rear End Some items listed on the build sheet were not included with the car when I got it. Heres a link to a free photo-hosting site where I posted a few digital photos of the project. There are more things included that were not photographed: http://s335.photobucket.com/albums/m462/rgboege/ Everything is in a rented storage unit just south of Joliet, IL. I have over 18K invested and I need to get $7500 for everything. I can only describe so much in writing. Obviously, a project like this has an infinite number of questions, details, etc. Id prefer answering questions over the phone to interested parties in the order they showed interest per V8Buick policy. Thanks for taking the time to read my post. Bob
For my first Buick A body project Bob`s car sounds like I might bite off more than I can chew. Nicely equipped car with good docs but not a good fit for this full size Buick guy. Good luck with the sale Bob. Next up! Tom Mooney
