Without me predisposing the answer what do you say are the correct corbin clamp colors for the overflow hoses to and from the radiator overflow reservoir?

I'll chime in, but as usual, I don't know if this applies to the A bodies (or even the same year) but my 71 LeSabre has olive green colored clamps on the tank to radiator hose.

Zinc Chromate Green. Like the color of the inside of the airplane.

On both of the plastic nipples?

    Jim,
The green clamps are on the rad and the lower nipple on the tank. I think the top tank hose is smaller and just slipped on, no clamp.

I have seen some red ones there but I do not know if that was original.

If you check the assembly manual they are the same part #s as used on the 3/8 fuel lines which are olive drab. So there you go!

Yes I believe that is zinc chromate.

There are red ones on the smaller fuel line going to the pump.

There are green or Zinc dichromate ones on the larger fuel and water overflow lines, red on the return fuel and also yellow and some black ones used on the different vapor lines. The colors are all different sizes. Some large auto parts stores sell these in those little red HELP blister packs if you want a cheap way to replace these. Or you could pay the big resto catalog prices.

I have all the clamps. Some areas will take more than one clamp size so I am just looking for a consensus on the size by color.

Problem with those help packages is you get a few clamps one or two you need and the rest are wasted (seem to be lots of the really small useless black ones) Further ahead to beadblast and recoat or paint your originals...they hold up amazingly well if you are careful with installation.

3/8" hose clamp is olive drab or zinc chromate primer, 5/16" is yellow, 1/4" is red but anyone know what color the large ones on the breather tube are? Funny thing, I just went over this on my website...pic attached note color looks pretty light as flash was needed for fill...they are darker in natural light.

Tim I believe they are black and 1 inch. Just measure the OD of the hose to confirm. There is a chance they could be 1 1/16 but I remember 1 inch.

    Yes, but it's a 3/4" hose...

I ended up just painting mine...simple to do, and I had the correct colors at home.
