    Hi Greg!

Great find! Any particulars? 2dr/4dr, colors, interior?? chances are that the body isn't in good shape.

I'm not too worried about the motor, it's the sheetmetal i'd be looking at.

  3. hi larry, its a 2dr electra. green in color. dents and rust are holding it together.
if i remember right you need some side moldings.
i'll see what they look like. i will be going over there in a few days again and will get some pics of the car.

    hey guys,

Maybe a Mod ought to move this thread to Junkyard Jewels??

    Anywho...

Dan, what am i looking for? oh boy...

Some of the usual stuff: pass inner wheel well. maybe a core support (the two parts that the battery usualy ruins.) I really wish I could find a donor that has some good rear floor pan sections, the panels that are under the rear seat are chewed up pretty bad. I've been contemplating using the POR-15 trunk kit on it, but that may not come out right.

Greg, I have a couple of the side moldings....was looking for some better sections... Black Interior?? I need the windlace for the driver's door! Mine rotted and snapped in half when i was working on the floorpan.

Right now, I'm in the middle of closing on a home, so my 'parts fund' is tied up for the next few months...

    But I can DREAM, right?

Thanks for asking...and keep me in mind. :TU:

    Larry,

This sucks man. I've scrapped TWO solid rear floor sections now!!! One was 69 WC Conv, the other was 69 LeSabre four door. Granted, they'ed be three inches shorter, but you coulda adapted them. I wish wish wish I'da known!!!!!!! The battery section was rough on both cars, but the one core support is still here. Its bad, but maybe not as bad as yours?!.Anyway, I'm always scouting 69-70 Big car stuff so I'll keep you in mind.

Here was one of em'. Was the darndest thing. The car was rotted bad, but the rear floors were great!

I think me rear pan was bad because one of the previous owners probably let the top rot, then the water worked its way to the pan. the front pans weren't too bad, but they needed some sanding and paint.

Thanks for keeping me in the back of your mind for parts... I'm still tinkering a bit, but priorities aren't on my Boat at the moment.
