Almost hit 5k then what at least another grand shipping? Will be a handsome color combo restored just tons O work:3gears: They are still out there.......
Yeh was wondering that too but don't think it had the original engine so that might be an "X" on that over an original numbers 4 speed from the Harrison 4 sp radiator to (hopefully) a 3:64 non air posi but never mentioned posi I don't think and not being a Stage 1 the posi wasn't standard anyway so parting list might get slimmer and slimmer. I know I would love to have it however equipped though. I have had several Stage 1 cars but I still remember the frantic hushed whispering at stop lights "Man, hey look that thing has a 455 it it(!)". Back then in a "Stage 1" you might get a " What the heck does that mean?" that always got a " Wait till light turns green" from me "Will show ya":3gears::spank:
That the one with the well-ventilated trunk. There will be some more rust waiting for you. It's a glorified parts car to me. I'd cut it up. I've parted stuff that was much nicer than that.
Not at 5 grand plus the cost of shipping your not. No matter how to slice it, you'll lose money parting it out at that price.
If it weren't hiding more,I would show it. Once you get it apart, you'll have a long laundry list of needs. I would still part it. Yea,you wouldn't get much more than what you paid, but it has some rate parts to fix a nicer car.
Just replace the rusted floor or trunk pans with aftermarket ones, do a driver-quality paint job on it, replace the ratty parts with driver-quality used ones, and it could be a fun daily driver that won't make you feel too bad if it gets a scratch or a ding, or your friend pokes a hole in the passenger seat because he sat down with a pen in his back pocket.
Or if you really wanted it, you could spend your own money on it if you wanted to. Hopefully someone who wanted a great color combo big block 4 speed GS from the most popular year ever bought it and saved it. Who cares if it is worth it or not if you aren't the person that bought it. Sheesh.
You can just do the mechanicals and drive it as is. I swear my ratty 70 GS gets more attention at car nights than my good cars
