If somebody wants the car checked out, I'm 10 miles away. I'm almost certain I've already seen this car somewhere. As good as the pictures are, if it's the same car I seen earlier this year - it's even better than you see in the ad.
Interesting to note that he had the interior done in the 71/72 white, instead of the 70 pearl white. Also surprised to see what looks like the wrong brake MC on a restoration of this level.
Owner said he had the interior custom made ( I think by Legendary) in 71/72 white rather than pearl white to better match the seat backs, but with the 70 basket weave pattern.
Chrisco...So now you're noticing the master cylinders all of the sudden...huh? My 69 vert. is also silver mist...looks like there may be a change of interior color and top in my future! That color combo is just stunning too cool...and I mean temperature wise too! The black interiors are nasty with the top down in the sun. You feel like a twice baked potato after 10 minutes! Buick Eric / Oregon :3gears:
Eric....don't say that too loud around CJP...He gets all squirrelly about original interior color changes...uzzled::af:
It is okay with Eric's car, it isn't a 1 previous owner all original 69 GS400 convertible! He has already changed the color, and is changing the interior and engine.
Probably because of too many liberties taken. Then again , would bamboo/ saddle do any better ? Flint only built 38 BB Convertibles in Silver Mist ( includes 455 & Stage) so not likely to see many Factory ones ever. DL
Personally I think it would have done worse leaving the bamboo/saddle. Color change was a positive thing...
