What would be the value of a 70 GS 455 with a 70 Stage 1 and matching BB code tranny be going for these days? The previous owner took some of the items off to begin a resto and was moving. He packaged everything up that wasn't already still bolted on the car.

The color is a Midnight Blue with blue interior, of coarse bucket seats and console, boxed lower control arms, sway bar etc. Frame looks great. Quarters have no problems that I could see. Inside the trunk, had a couple of pin holes and was repaired by the previous owner. No vinyl top on it now. No headliner. No cracks in the dash. Bezel on pass side looks flawless, but drivers has to be replaced.

Any ideas?:Do No: What would something like that go for?

Depending on how complete the car is, and overall condition I would say anywhere between 5k-8k. It sounds like a diplomat blue, blue interior car. If it is as solid as you say, and is presentable (one color, driveable, etc) it maybe towards the upper end of that scale. It all depends on the condition of the car I guess.

As I was reading, I was guessing at $4500-$6500 depending on condition and what needs to be done. Sounds like a rolling resto. If ALL parts are accounted for, then $5000-$8000. Get some pics if you can.

Thanks guys for your help. I am on the fence on this one weather to keep it, or sell it. Too many projects around here you know.

    Rick,

Did you see that this car is for sale again? The engine and tranny were pulled but were never sold and the car is currently in the Seattle paper for $6,500, and the guy admits that it is overpriced and he is open to offers. Sounds like he has already sold many of the extra parts that he had.

I would stay clear of this car and the seller. Lots of monkey business on this one.

    Thanks Chris.

Made it back safely after replacing the timing chain.

By the way, you have got to be one of the best friends a Buick guy could have. Posting new listings and the like. Thank you very much for everything that you do for us! :beer
