    Mark,

Thanks, yes I have bid on it. I saw it last night and I am waiting to hear back from the seller with a phone number and address.

He also has a 350 hardtop car for sale for $13k.

Looks like it was a "quickie" detail job with a bunch of cans of spray paint, which always concerns me, especially since he didn't give the 350 car the same treatment (meaning it probably didn't have anything that needed to be hid).

Also need to find out how good of a job the color change from gold/gold to red/black was!

I am sure that the correct hood trim will be cheap and easy to find :Dou: Maybe if I buy it I can convince him to swap the chrome with the 350 car!

For some reason, someone has sprayed ALOT of undercoating on the underside of this car...and its fresh, being from WV you see this alot tryin to cover up something, its got that shine to it saying its just be put on and the texture is also there.....something I noticed...why do people go to all that work, the inside of that car is beautiful!...then leave the fly wheel cover off.... ..that drives me nuts...can you get reman tail lights for those cars?....the tail lights looks terrible, like its been on a car thats been sitting in a field for 15 years.....

Well it's gone already! Someone used buy it now and ended it early. Maybe that is why I never got a call back or an email.

    Ryan,

I completely agree with you, there is no way I would have bought it without a thorough inspection. Dan (Floydsbuick) had graciously offered to check it out for me, and I am guessing we wouldn't have been impressed. But you never know.

Anyone on this board check it out or buy it???

I truly believe its one of those cars that you see from 30 feet away and think..WOW...killer car, then you get closer, and closer and then its  ......she gets alot worse the closer you get!...hey cjp69, you have anymore pics of your car?...I know its lowered, does it have big wheels?....I'd like to see them if you have anymore.

Not to big of wheels, 17's, but with standard backspacing (4 inch I think). In hindsight, should have gone with 5 to 6 and bigger tires, but I couldn't wait that long for them to arrive, had a show to go to!

Is it just me, or did the seller add the same 4 pictures about 8 times in a row in that auction?

Looks like a sweet ride to me!
    :beer

By the way..... flywheel covers are over rated! :pp

LoL..I know, but I'm a detail NUT!!..its the small things that count, I mean like the tail lights, way do all that work and spend all that time to hurt it by not payin attention to something like that, and ou put it up on a lift to show off the under side..(yes theres 100 pics of the under side:Dou: ) and it not have the cover on it, at 16,500.00, it should be there :puzzled:
