Years ago I put disc brakes on my Stage 1 since I wanted it to stop better at the end of the quarter mile. I tossed the old set-up (!!!) and I'm thinking since I don't really race it anymore I'd like to put it back the way it came. Anyone have a complete set-up? These were the big finned drums, not the Skylark base set-up. 69 big block models are probably the same. Who's got a parts car or these sitting on the shelf gathering dust?

The ones I need ARE aluminum so maybe you have the right ones. Let me know, maybe a photo would be helpful. Don't know if 68 S/W would be the same or not. Possibly. Thanks!

The GS big blocks from 67 - 70 used the aluminum drums as std. equip. (discs optional). As did the 67 to 69 Sportwagons. The 70 A body wagons used discs as did the 71 & 72 GS big blocks.

I have ones off my 72. They are not AL.. If you run out of options, you can have them cheap, spindels, everything. The shoes are new and the whole set-up only has 42k on it. Just pay for shipping and a little something for my trouble of boxing that stuff, it is bulky.

I have drums from a 67 GS400 that are Aluminum

Are these the same drums? I will be going to the 4 piston disc set for the coolness factor! :bglasses:
