I have a 70 GS that was done in Sherwood Green. There is gold colored flake in the re-paint, but I'm not sure if that was factory or not...thinking not. I saw a 72GS same color but no flake.
72 color was the same code, but called "hunter green". I've seen many slight variances, but its hard to say how correct one is over the other. I will say that my car (72 skylark, never resprayed, original hunter green) still looks good under the trunk lid and I've noticed no gold in the metallic. Not the greatest reference, but its some indication anyway.
