Need this gone asap. Threw a low-ball offer on a house I like and they accepted, so now I'm cash-poor and need funds for house stuff like yesterday. I feel like I undervalued it considering what it is. Any help moving this would be appreciated: https://www.grautogallery.com/vehicles/b5123-s/1970-buick-gs455-stage-1
You can always back out of the house offer..just saying. I did after the house inspection plus they can't make you buy a house you can't afford
Sorry to hear about your dilemma. Hopefully things will work out and you sell the car ASAP. What the car originally red from the factory ?
Yes Fire Red with "not-recommended" Burnished Saddle vinyl interior and originally had a "not-recommended" dark brown top as well. Wayne Roberts told me that it is likely a 1-of-1 due to it's unusual combinations but of course that can't be 100% proven. Still, Wayne has been doing this a long time so his words are significant.
Beautiful car ! One suggestion that may help sell the car quicker, if you have pictures of the SS on the deck of the block, BB code on the trans, carb, distributor, rear code, a frame codes. Pics.
It has it's original engine, trans, and rear end. It has a '70 GS 455 (non-Stage 7040240) carb on it now that was rebuilt/refinished to Stage 1 specs with the addition of an electric choke. An original 7040246 Stage 1 carb is included. It is not original to the car but has a correct date code of 0150 (car was built 2/17/70), It has an MSD ready-to-run electronic distributor but the original correct distributor is included (don't have pics of the distributor numbers anymore), It has modern A/C compressor, alternator, and starter but the originals are included, It has had the original rallye clock removed for a correct tachometer but the original clock is included. See attached photos and please ask any questions.
If you don’t mind me asking … What commission are they charging you ? Reading their listing - I thought they owned the car … Jim
Buddy of mine had a 70 stage 1 that was fire red with burnished buckets and vinyl top. So it’s either the same car or 1 of 2 lol
Mine was a dark brown vinyl top. Looks almost black, close but no cigar. Plus mine originally had body side moldings and door edge guards, A/C, power windows, automatic, speed alert, etc., so yeah still possibly a one-of-one with it’s factory options. I believe Wayne when he says something.
I do not. Have photos of the car from 1989 and it’s not on there so it was removed sometime before that. First couple owners are deceased so I’ll never know when.
