Looks nice for the money. I don't get the fake 455 stage 1 badges/air cleaner on 350 car? Why? Be proud of what it is, for pete's sake!
Since it has the incorrect shifter, along with all of the Stage1 cladding,I wonder how exactly this car was built. Was it even a 4-speed?
I can tell you that those pictures were taken at Hollywood Motors in West Babylon not 15 minutes from where I am. But the car is listed for sale in Connecticut? I would proceed with caution here
I'd like to see a pic of that trim tag. Several years ago there was a Sherwood Green/Brown Top/Dark Saddle interior (non-recommended, "Z" on the tag, & same combo as a '70 Stage 1 4-sp I owned) '70 350 4-sp for sale in Maine. I believe that car had a consolette but I could be wrong & the top could've been changed. I'd definitely want to see some documentation on the orig. configuration regardless.
I looked at his car a couple of years ago at another place. He wanted more money back then. I caught the guy in three lies and told him have a nice day. First one being it was an original 455 car but the motor blew so the previous owner put in a 350 and for some more money he could get me the original motor to rebuild. Probably the same owner he’s a flipper.
As Jason suggested, this kind of looks like a scam. The address in Connecticut is "H.B Motors", which looks like a dump. https://www.google.com/maps/@41.184...HVAcg29eXNku_xvA!2e0!7i16384!8i8192?entry=ttu Photos are from elsewhere. Beware.
