I'm pretty sure this isn't a real GSX, but it might be a nice car. I like the 4 cylinder 455. Not room to stroke a 4 banger that much, so it must he a hell of a bore! The add says $19,500, but their web page says $16,500. http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/1203940932.html 1970 BUICK GSX 455 - $19500 (TACOMA) Reply to:sale-nsfcc-1203940932@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?] Date: 2009-06-03, 3:05PM PDT The Car Choice 212 Tule Lake Road S. I believe this car was on ebay 1-2 years ago for around 30K and if I remember correctly it is NOT a GSX. It's a skylark cloned into a GSX.
I think that may have been a different car, I think this one is a real GS 455 (numbers matching) but not a GSX. It has been for sale for the last year or two, this car lot just started advertising it within the last month or so. The last guy's price varied from $17,500 - $22,500, and I remember the last time he listed it he said he had to sell it and to make him an offer. This dealer may have bought it pretty reasonable, or it may be on consignment.
I knew it wouldn't be a real GSX, but at $16,000 range, it may be a heck of a deal. Looks good in the pictures any way.
