it would make a good "day two" car. I'd ignore the more nit picky stuff like the pedals and shifter and try to locate the console and related parts. other than that drive it and improve as you go.
The side plate on the trans does not appear to have the TCS switch or a bore for one. The speedo cable set up is missing the adapter. The emergency brake cable , if correct , is incorrectly routed.
Jim, wondering what the crossmember is from? I noticed the emergency cable routing as well, most notably at the crossmember.
"Floor pan and trunk pan replaced front to back; rear quearters like new and no seam in trunk, so likely replaced; rockers look new, so likely replaced; front fenders and front/rear inner fenders look new, so likely replaced. Body work overall looks very good on car." Quality body work - Dilly Dilly - you don't see that often enough! The yellow paint showing behind the windshield would bother me more than anything else. The V.I.N. tag looks normal, my guess is one of those 2 little tabs is broken on that plastic piece that surrounds it. What is that black piece of metal at an angle between the rear and the sway bar?
Not a good time for me to purchase another GS but I hope to get into a GSX in the near future. This car looks great and I do have all the 4 speed parts to get it more correct for this GSX.
