ive decided to go forward with making my 71 custom in to a #s matching 70 gs x. did they come out with the stainless trim on the gutters ,or,was it a option . seen them both ways . but who knows if they are real . thnx for your knowledge bill
Roof channels had the stainless trim. They did NOT have the "upper peak molding" that swept across the top of the quarters & doors.
thnx for the info . thats what i thought , but , i dont get paid to think . removed my belt molding ,and almost done welding ALL the holes up . bought the gs emblems for the fenders . THEN changed direction . so more holes to weld !!! got the hood painted .corvette yellow . looks very close , atleast til im side by side . but as rare as real gsx are , i doubt ill ever have a side by side .went to kool april nights in redding ca. this year .dint see one 70/72 buick a body . 50 or 100 chevelles thou !!! current plan calls for gsx paint , but no decals . subject to change daily!!
