https://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/cto/d/barrington-buick-grex/7134573184.html Pro-touring Buick GSX. Multiple show winning and magazine featured car is One of One. Perfect in every way and ready to enjoy more details at: https://www.lateral-g.net/members/miller/
Even though it has an LS I have always loved that car. If I had the money when Todd sold, I would have bought it.
It's not a real GSX. The car is a base model 1972 Skylark from CA ( Rust Free) that was used to create this pro touring car. See all the build up details here: http://www.diecastmusclecars.com/dcm1970gsx.htm
Awesome stance, perfect wheel sizes. Even though I'm not into "LS everything", that car is beautiful and bada$$. Swap it back to a Buick if you don't like the engine choice (we do build cars on this forum, don't we?), you're still money ahead.
The body and frame are as nice as you'll find anywhere. Super solid car from California. Super fun car to drive. Modern drivetrain. A/C, 600 ish h.p. Build up photos on both of my websites. New Site Restoration Photos. . . . https://www.stage1restoration.com/buick-gs-gsx-restorations-2/
While I don't usually "OOOHH!!! AHHHH!" the LS swap thing, I certainly get the benefits and logic behind doing one, and I definitely get the appeal especially in certain situations. But we've beat that dead horse to death until it was dead and deceased and passed away. Back to the topic at hand, that car is sharp, non-Buick powerplant be d*mned.
I will say this, I loved the LS motor in my 2004 GTO. Zero problems with great performance. And decent gas mileage, too.
Super cool Build That would look really cool in the garage..... Todd - do you still own the car???? Or you sold the car to someone and they are selling it?
Very nice car and well done! Would make a great Power Tour car. With the hood closed you can’t see the LS! Really for touring, that’s not a bad way to go. That’s only $48,000 USD.
One thing that I have learned in the Buick world... Soooooo many cloned GSX's. So played out. Cool car for sure but not really my thing. 60k? I would build one hell of a wagon
