Well, I corrected the firing order and she fired up easily. It seems to run very strongly and smoothly. It is a heavy car, but you can tell it has lots of torque. It has single exhaust and really screams through it at high RPM, but it is a fine engine. It has the correct Qjet, and appears stock otherwise, but who knows? I didn't find the block number to check. The guy wants 500.00 for the car. Is it worth it just for the engine? I will transplant it into my 71 GS if I get it! TIA Frank
Well, my spare running engine sitting on the stand in the garage is insured for $500. The perfect timing cover thereon is probably worth $300 all by itself. So I'd say so.
If you part out the LeSabre im sure you could make $200 at most, right off the bat. Then later on down the road you could sell the rest of the parts.
