Stumbled upon an original owner, 1970 Lesabre Custom, 350, poer everything... an older man's daily driver, 165,000 miles on car, but all service records and original bill of sale available. Even has original factory frive train! Interior is perfect, body good from 10 feet away, then you see some normal rust... the man passed away, son selling car - $1400 OBO. Not sure if it is 2 or 4 door - I think 4... Chrome is god - no dents or scratches...

    Questions:

    1. MPG Highway and City? My guess is 18 highway, 16 city?
    2. New timing chain in recently... I know these cars had issues w/oil pumps (the 350 V8). Anything else I should look for or be concerned with?
    3. Price - is this a good price for a 4-door custom?
    4. Winter driving - if necessary, are these good, reliable cars for winter??

Thanks in advance! This is my first post - I am going to offer $1000 for the car if it checks out!!

Sorry for the typos! I used the spellcheck feature - however, had my 19 month old boy on my lap! Made it tough on both ends! Oh well! Let me know what you can about my questions!
