What was the Original Tire Size For the Redline 14" used on the '70's?
    Thanks,

    Ted

    Checked Coker's website for available tires. Found G 70 - 14 redlines.
    26.8 tall
    8.8 cross section

Is that the right tire? Thanks, Ted :bglasses:

Yes, the G70-14 would be correct size redline for a 1970 GS. Redlines were not available after 70 on the GS

    Hi Jason,

My 1971 Dealer Buick Facts Book, lists available tires as Wide Oval Red Line for GS = G70-14 and Riviera GS as H70-15. The GS may be for 350 only, since the GS (455 engine) does not list the Red Lines as an available tire??

yup.....I see them on the 71 new car order form :Dou: . Sales code F-8. G70-14 redlines. They seem to disappear off the 72 new car order form though. I always though they went away after 70. Maybe because Ive never seen a set on a 71 at any of the shows.

They will look awesome on my Fire Red/black stg 1. I have the bfg ta raised white letters there now, but the Sloan docs for the car show redlines. An I Love Redlines! :TU:

    :beer Thanks,

    Ted

I seen an add from Corker tire that showed a Red Line BFG Radial. I have not had a chance to call them to get a price but I wonder if they can be ordered through any BFG dealer (if they actually make them).
