Hey...... I just returned from being gone on a holiday weekend .... You guys might have considered that.. Jeff
Well, I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I've been looking for one of these for 5+ years. It's the only piece I need to complete my interior. . . Just following board rules . . .
I usually wait a couple days before i move to the next in line if i dont hear anything after pics are sent, gsxing is next i might have jumped the gun a bit and i am sorry skierkaj i will see if i can come up with another set up i know i have most of the wire ing and switch and i will see if anyone local has a blower unit .
Ok Dave. I don't think I need the wiring and switch (I should have that stuff), but I do need a blower motor and the grille to cover it. By the way, GSXING, you owe me a beer for being nice about this . . . haha!
Has anyone ever thought of reproducing the grilles to cover the rear defogger? Just a thought . . . If I had one of those, I could make my unit work. They are metal, correct? How about some plastic repos?
There were metal grilles and plastic grilles. I think the '71-'72's were the same plastic grilles for all GM A-bodies. If that helps. Things get a little fuzzy prior to mid-year '70 as Skylarks/GSs came with a long, thin grilles that fit into the slot in the metal package tray behind the rear seat. I think other GM Divisions used bits and pieces, but I am not sure they were the same as the Buicks.
SORRY guys,,,, Didn't mean to stir things up... If JOHN, or anyone else for that matter, is in town we'll go out for some beers BUICK style.... Jeff
Not a problem. It happens. But why does it have to happen with such a rare piece?! Probably won't make it to Texas for that beer. . .
