Does anyone else find it rather dumb that buick made a plastic grill, with no added metal trim or support for the top of Grill... Mine looks like someone took a needle nose and went along breaking small pieces off..... I see how this happens... anytime you lean over front of car, your chest or stomach pushes down on plastic... any suggestions,,,, I suppose a new grill would solve that.?

    Correct.

But to get one you needed to be a GSCA member 3 months ago and have an order placed with a deposit.

Or you can pay $1000 on ebay for one.

    Well, that's for a '70 GS grille.

The 1970 Skylark grilles have more of an 'egg crate' look, and I don't think anybody repros them.

I alwys either work on the motor from the fender, or I brace my thighs right up against the bumper, so I know I can't lean on the grille. maybe being 5'7" helps for a change :Do No:
