    IL (Chicago/Peoria/Quad Cities/etc.)
    IA (Iowa City/Burlington/Waterloo/Des Moines/etc.) area;

    Looking for between FREE-$1,000, PREFERABLY '70 (will consider '71/'72) Skylark parts car, solid frame, solid trunk, not interested in engine/trans/interior/etc.; to use as donor car for '70 GS restoration project; remainder to be used as garage display only (as Buick engine stand, for mock ups).

    Hey GSX4me, I've got a 1971 Skylark post 2dr body I'd take $900 dollars for. It is a original 2-tone paint car,[body,rearend,frame only]. It doesn't have any front sheetmetal or suspension. or interior. It is a Colorado car and has clean floorpans, good trunkfloor, and decent lower 1/4 panels. I can even deliver it to Central Iowa for gas money if that would interest you? I'll post some pictures tonight when I get home. Larry:kodak:

    Thanks, Larry, but that's a lot more rust than a few (more complete/'70 GS's) that I've found for $500, closer to home.
    Not a definite no, but I'm still narrowing down other cars/prices.

    not to take over your thread but I am looking for pretty much the same thing prefer 1970. I am also in the same area as well but could look further south into Missouri. GSX4me will have first shot at it before me though as this is his thread that he started

    I'm trying to save/restore my '70 GS Stage 1, and I need a '70 (not '71 or '72!) Skylark or GS with a decent/SOLID trunk floor/rear inner trunk section, to cut out & use as "original" trunk (rather than to modify aftermarket "Chevelle" trunk floors to make fit), if possible!

    Open to offers, for what anyone might have, that I could use for these parts!
