The interior looks kinda ratty for that much coin. Arm rests are all discoloured and the seats look less than mint.

Nice car though. Same colours as my '70 GS rag was, but mine was not Stage 1 or 4 speed. Pretty rare car........

I Think Its Crap That Someone Who Is A Mopar ,pontiac Guy Finds A Car That We All Want And Marks It Up So Only Some Rich Guy That Probably Isnt In To Buicks At All Will Buy It As An Investment And Now The People That Truley Want One For The Driving Pleasure Will Never Be Able To Buy One .they Were Not Made To Sit Around On A Shelf Like A Trophy.that Is What Will Happen To Them If They Cost $225,000. I second the comments above about the interior looking pretty weak. For that kind of money he could have gone to Legendary and spent $2K on new panels and seat covers and such.

    I think it's joke, investor's and speculator's ruining everything.
I would rather spend $50,000 and buy this:3gears:

It is a double edged sword. We know our Buicks are as good as or better than the rest. Buick did "build a better car", especially the performance versions. With the prices what they are on a LS6 4-speed vert, this guy is probably too low.

    Up to 110K.

Just for the sake of this conversation, lets assume this car is sold for 225k. How much of that 225k is because its a convertible as opposed to a hardtop?

How much did the convertible add to the price?

You are absolutely right man! How dare you ask a price for this car that
is beyond reality....it's just wrong. The Buick fanatics should be able to buy
a car like this. And for that matter, i have seen nicer Buicks like this for less money.

Come on guys , I will never own one either but if a hemi Cuda is 5 mil then well it might be worth it . The best I would do is a clone that way I could drive the snot out of it . I just wish I could get Jim Lore to adopt me :)

Maybe the car being original adds to the value, not detracts from it... :Do No:

Did they really put a 10Bolt rear end on a Stage 1 GS? :Do No: :Do No:

I think a great deal, but because of the rarity, not the "appeal" of a convertible.

I have sort of an 'equality pact' with my wife, so since I can't buy two at the same time I can't just buy the one of them for myself.

I don't think the fact that it's a convertible per se makes it more desireable, but the fact that it's very rare and perhaps the only one left in blue makes it pricey. If hardtops were rarer, then those would be more pricey than ragtops.

Cool, learned something new, I would have thought they put a 12 bolt in all stage 1's.
