Guys I don't think 70-72 are all the same. My 70 dash pad had a crack in it and I bought another out of a 71 and it doesn't work. The difference is in the mounting stud on the far left by the a-pillar. On 70, it is a round "ball-type" stud that snaps into the pressure clamp in the dash, just like the other 2 on the middle and right side of the dash. For 71-72, it's a flat tab that does NOT fit into my 70 dash. I actually broke the stud off trying to get it in there because it doesn't even line up properly. Anyone else have this experience?
Mistake I just got this dash pad for my 72 and it only has one air vent on the right side. My current one has two vents. So, This one is for sale again if anyone needs one with one vent. And I need one with two vents. Black.
Mark If you want to return the pad i will send you the money back.I know that came out of an a/c car because i still have the dash cluster with the a/c control still in it.I was surprised you didn't let me know it would not work for you.I don't want you to think i was not honest with you.
