My drivers side rear axle snapped .I was wandering if any body could help me out.My 70 wildcat has a posi with 2.73 gears and I can not find a driver side rear axle for it.I also have a 70 Lesabre and thought I could use that rear axle in the Wildcat. That wouldn't work. The axle diameter was smaller.I would be even willing to swap for a newer posi, but don't know what will fix in my Wildcat or who to contact.Sure would be thankful for some advice or help finding parts.I was told Summit Racing could make me some new ones how do I get in contact with them or anyone else?
    Thanks Craig.

The LeSabre axle was the same for several years, '68-70. The '68-70 LeSabres utilized the same BUICK 8.2 ring & pinion & posi's as the BUICK 8.2 used in '68-70 Skylarks & GS's.

During same years, the Big Buick (Electra & Wildcat & Riv) continued to use the 9 3/8 r/e & bigger diam axle. A good used axle from '68-70 Buick 225 is what you need. Estate wagons used another axle, so shy away from them.

BTW swapping to later '71+ 9 3/8 would not serve you well. The '71+ 9 3/8 used 31 spline axle vs earlier 30 spline 9 3/8 & later stock axles wold not work in your '70 9 3/8 housing.

Any new custom axles for this appl through Summit would be Mosers. Ready to buy new Mosers, better have a used axle in hand, ready to give Moser Engineering all the dimensions.

If you can't find an Electra/Wildcat/Riviera axle near you, let me know. I'd be glad to pick up a shaft at my local yard and send it your way for cost.
