would love to see the cowl tag on this one! http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/cars-for-sale/buick/wildcat/1746835.html
The question is if a 70 WC convertible ever came with bucket seats & console.Note the shifter display on the dash....
Looking for the interior trim code to see if it came with a bench or bucket seats. Wouldn't confirm if it was a console car, but would confirm the buckets.
And the 69-70 Riviera had the most unique and beautiful console and shifter of any car. I have 2 in the garage waiting for the day I get a 69 or 70. Or maybe on something else I can install it in.
Yes they did come with buckets and console. The display on the dash is correct. the same as any "A" body with console would have. There wasn't a lot of them . There was recently a Wildcat with 3 speed on the column that was posted on here. Another rare one.
I owned the blue 3 speed on the tree in the 80's. :Brow: As said, buckets and console were not available an a factory option on a convertible Wildcat or LeSabre in 1970. Those are the correct seats for a coupe, but I'm not sure about the shifter. It is the right style, and it sure looks right. SCO or conversion? The inst. panel would give it away, but if you got the rare-as-hen's-teeth buckets why not the speedo head?
