:af: Been having issues with my 71 Skylark's 350 turbo trans leaking. Seems everytime the mechanic replaces one seal another one leaks. Not sure if it's the fact that he's a bad mechanic or it's just fate. My most recent issue is that my trans shift linkage seal is leaking. I've been told that the even the new seal is leaking because of excess wear and tear on the linkage but I'm not sure if thats true or not. Latest solution is to be replacing the seal with a smaller diameter one to hopefully stop the leak. Will this work or am I just having smoke blown up my chimney?
