Thinking about getting a set of slicks for the Electra. Does anyone know the maximum size you can fit underneath a big Buick? What offset do I need to run? Backspacing? It would be neat to run the Electra with the skirts but I could stand to lose some weight. :Brow: Thanks in advance.

    Rob,
Both Smartin & I run Mickey Thompson E.T.street drag radials size 275/50/15 on our boats.I installed air shocks for clearance, but really did not need them.I think Adam needed the air shocks for clearance. We are both running stock wheel sizes.Hope this helps. Are you going to the BPG Nats this year?

I have 15x8's with 4" backspacing. I need the shocks to clear the wheel lip on one side. It's about 1/4" from the tire. I should get wheels with 5" BS.

8" wide wheels are stock? Thought they were narrower...

The wheels I run on my drag radials aren't stock. I have stock 15x6 wheels for my regular tires.
