One of these days I'm gonna get me a wagon. Took my driver's test in a 73 Estate Wagon. :TU:

Looks very nice! Is that a '57 Buick Estate Wagon in front of it?

Iffin' you dont buy it Im going to smack you upside your head in August.

    THAT THING IS SHWEEEEET !!!

Yeah, 7.5K is tough but if its all there and a good runner its well worth it. Plus, its got 3rd row delete which means a HUGE hidden cargo area great for hiding a second fuel cell for C16 and NOS bottles :Do No: :Brow:

    Sure looks sweet!

There is here locally a 72 clamshell Buick wagon for sale cream white with woodgrain molding.

That one is also in very nice condition, but this looks at first glance nicer.

Lots of new buicks around, and other brands.

It would be cool for towing my 71 Skylark. And the 3rd seat delete, would be perfect for a bed. After the Wife see it.

Here are some additional pics the owner sent me along with a description.

"The car is indeed a low milage car. I'm the second owner. I've done a lot of work fo it. All window motors are new, replaced the seat motor the switch and the exchanger. The trans mission is rebuilt. The engine is good, we rebuilt the heads and installed hardened exhaust seats. Fixed the A/C and charged with 12R it works after 30 seconds you switch it on.... All the brake parts are new and the brake works really well. Cruise works as well. The carburetor had issues. I bought a rebuilt quadra jet but it was still bad. Then I put on an exelbrock what was laying around the garage and now it works like a charm! I'm just about to install 4 new shocks."

I still don't know how many miles, but the seller seems to be an honest guy, considering he sent photos of the trouble areas, including the rust in the floor of the storage area and he has two other Buick wagons, including the '56 you see in the one of the pics. Price might be a little optomistic but still a nice looking wagon.

I don't think that's twilight turquoise...a bit too dark. It looks like verdemist green maybe?

I'm sure that green interior was definitely NOT on the list of recommended interior colors for TT.

If you mean the one from 'Marketplace": stay away from it. I've checked that one and due to dry rotten weatherstrips the car took tons of water inside over the years. Rusted out floorboards, tailgate problems. Really not worth the 7.500 Euros he was asking there a year ago nor the 5.000 he's asking now.
Worth maybe a 1.000 as a parts car.

Hiya Rob, yeah thats the one I'm talking about.
Shame it wasn't as nice as it looked on the photo's would have made a nice driver / tower car.
