The shroud will have no strap or place for a hook, part number 1234555. I have a slightly modified one, thanks to unintended contact with the fan, also have a incorrect one. Only interested in original shrouds in very good to excellent condition. No hurry. Thanks, Dan
Hi Dan,let me look,I have a couple of them shrouds, don't know if they are 71 or 72.I'll check with the number given.Bruno.
I have a 61,000 mile 71 parts car if you still need one if Bruno and John cannot come up with that part number-- thanks!
Here is the one I found, the other is a 455 shroud. Just dirty, has no scrapes, nicks, breaks, cracks etc., you can see in upper left where I wiped it with a rag to see how clean it would be, a solid 9-10 when cleaned I'm sure. I could not find a Part # anywhere.
Wheelz, 1233000 is a 70 shroud. And while we're at it, 1238972 is a 72 shroud. I'm not interested in 70's or 72's, only 1234555 71-350.
I understand Dan. . .I was merely pointing out, in the pix, a P/N location because '72Stage1' mentioned he couldnt find a P/N. Just trying to help! ..and speaking of help, I have multiple shrouds and I might even have 1234555 in the mix. . .!!! Wheelz, Tampa Bay
You only need to check if there is a hole drilled for the upper hose, other than that 71 & 72 are identical. In 71 there is no hole for a hose strap...
Deal fell through, still looking for a 1234555 fan shroud. It's a 71 350, no hole for a hose loop. I will pick up Bowling Green on Thursday or Friday only, can't stay for the weekend.
