good day all after scanning this site for quite awhile now, i give up . i am sure somewhere here there was a peice saying just what motor had what and the difference between them. just looking for a little insight i'm restoring a 72 2dr hard top this month and just found a 71 gs with no front end but a motor and tranny seems that i have 73 350 2bbl in my car now not original engine but the block is a 70 year from what i can gather up to now and the one i have found has a 350gs motor original to that car will be getting numbers off the block this week. any body steer me in the direction of numbers or that web site would be a great help .thanx for all the help guys great site great cars hope to be there soon. along with work and my car hope to get back here soon take care all :beer

Sometimes there were multple engines per model year. There are often two letter codes that descibe the engine variant on the front.
