I am selling a 71 GS 455 project car. The car is an original GS 455, bucket seat, disc brake, console automatic. I purchased this car midway through a restoration. The body is complete and has been taken off frame, frame blasted and painted. Installed on car are two NOS fenders and NOS core support, also have new repro 71 GS grill. Car is solid, couple small (1 inch) rust holes in trunk and one at corner of rear window. Rear quarters have been replaced, hood in excellent shape, car is in primer. Motor is a rebuilt 1975 455, poston GS107-A cam, zero miles on motor, I have the matching numbers 71 455 block which is fine for a rebuild, the 75 block was chosen due to the performance level of the rebuild. Transmission is a brand new PAE 400-4000 and I also have a complete 4 speed setup including consolette which could be purchased seperately. Interior is out of car, have brand new front and rear seat covers, door panels, etc. Also included is a good N25 bumper core and good front bumper. This is basically what is to be included for my price of $7500. Parts alone are worth more than this. I will consider parting the car or selling shell only, motor only etc. I will get some pictures this weekend. Car is located just outside of Boston.
send me pics also thanks drcinkus@sbcglobal.net what color and interior color vinal top need more thanks don.
Additional info I will be posting pictures this weekend, car is in the back corner of my building and hard to get to. Pictures will not really do this justice. Car is in primer, needs final body work but as I said, hood is perfect, floors perfect, NOS fenders and core support, quarters replaced, one was a half quarter. Car was originally gold with a black bucket interior, currently jammed out in silver. Rally steering wheel and gauges, this was an AC car although probably not worth putting it back in. This is a pretty much a complete car, have all the stainless, this was a vinyl roof car. Have new year one interior including front and back door panels, package tray, headliner, front and rear seat covers. As I said, I will part this out if people want, I will probably come out better. I also have lots of additional goodies which I will sell to buyer of car seperately. This includes an NOS set of tips for N25 bumper, original Buick hood tach, 8 track player, good set of 14 inch rally wheels and tires, and of course the 4 speed set up. I will not sell these parts until after car is sold. Hope this helps.
Intrested in the extra's Jim I am intrested in the extra parts after the car sells.Sounds like a great car for the money.Ian 905-304-1449
