I'm installing a radiator core support patch kit. I want to paint it and the radiator the correct color. It appears to be black semi-gloss. Is this correct? Is there a special brand of paint I should use?

    Thanks,

    Chris

Por15 makes underhood black as well as Eastwood both are great products and have the correct semi flat sheen about $20-25 a quart but you need a gun to shoot it or for a quick job just pickup Krylon semi flat black at your local autozone $5 a can

remember - do not paint the rad core itself.

Chris, Eastwood sells a radiator black and it is gloss black which is probably correct. The core support is more semigloss black. use the radiator paint for radiator only.
