There seems to be a large percentage of potential buyers that want to buy cars at a fraction of the posted price. It is a nice car and it is worth a good price . Thanks for posting it here.
Thanks for that. Noone wants to overpay, but IMO the collector car market, ( or at least the muscle car )is starting to enter a decline that it might never recover from going fwd. Young people are, for the most part, not interested in cars like boomers are. When we go, who's going to drive the market? I would like to think pedigree cars will hold value, but i still have this after months and it's a great car at a fair price.
I believe the price is fair too, I looked at the photos. This is a classic "you can't restore it for that price" car.
Let us hope the market stays stable.Nobody likes to lose too much money when they sell. But it is a cold hard fact 90% of us do not make money on these cars Alain
Not just your opinion. That's a fact, Jack. People just aren't paying today what they were once willing to pay yesterday. The market is definitely in a downturn. Your car looks fantastic though! Good luck with the sale!
It's a bit subjective, i would say it's down to your personal frame of reference. That being said, mine is placing a #1 car at 990+ points at a nationally judged show that is rolled on and off an enclosed trailer. # 2 would be an older correct frame off restoration that still shows very well and is driven, # 3 a frame on older correct restoration. This car shows and drives exactly like it looks. Glass is perfect, vinyl roof, all brightwork , bumpers, chrome, paint in excellent condition. Paint is vibrant, gaps are well within factory spec. Very dry car ZERO RUST. It's a really great car that draws a lot of attention at shows, and only needs a new owner.
I recently acquired a very similar car. Very basic, non ac, no power steering or brakes. I like yours.
I'm glad PS/Tilt was added to mine,if i want a workout i'll hit the gym!. Lots of interest on the car, still available.
