Looking for the individual portholes/ventiports off a '71 Lesabre or Electra, I need three per side. Don't need NOS, unless the price is right ( :bglasses: ) just something decent I can try an idea out on - Going to open them up and try letting some of that incredibly hot underhood air :af: out...West Texas summers...every bit should help!

Have you tried connecting the distributor vacuum advance to manifold vacuum instead of proted vacuum at idle as per Buick? My 72 was like a furnace under the hood till I did this.

Carl! How you been? BTW, the new dash looks wonderful, haven't torn into the doors yet, but that's on the list. Thanks again!!! :TU:

Yeah, been using manifold vacuum for years, it DO make a difference! I'm just trying to get rid of as much heat as possible, towing a boat in 90+ weather - every little bit helps!

I'm not sure how much difference it'll make, just kind of a stray thought I figured I'd try, then the local yard doesn't have ANY big '71 Buicks in it...

    Hi James,
I was enjoying the summer cruising around in my Centurion! It gets lots of waves and honks, too bad winter gets here so soon.

I would also change thermostats if the underhood temp is high.

    Carl
