Here is another Buick convertible in CT - this one is a '72: http://hartford.craigslist.org/bar/952274873.html
It is a nice looking car, has some minor problems if I recall correctly. I think he has it for sale off and on for a 1 year plus. I have some additional pictures somewhere that he sent me a long time ago.
I went back and looked through some old emails, I may have been wrong on how long ago it was for sale, I found an email dated May 2008. He said it had about 6 spots of rust, I can't remember what else, but that was enough for me to walk away given how far away it was from me. I was looking for something that I wouldn't feel I had to repaint, and I am a picky SOB. Here is his contact info: Jeffrey cell (860) 978-0772
Thanks for the images Chris - yeah, that car will definitely need a paint job soon to prevent further deterioration.
Here is info on the car that the seller contacted me with if anyone is interested: There is no body rot or rust through the panels, or trunk. There is rust in about 8-10 spots where paint has chipped away. Brakes and all wear parts are in great condition as I just had it all taken care of: $2K in the past 12 months. I have the receipts and I believe I listed most of it online. My father had the car up until 2 years ago, and I noticed the lighter, clock and radio have no power to them now when he transferred the car to me. I believe he was going to replace those items since there are replacement parts in the trunk. I just had the Master Cylinder replaced so the breaks work great! Thanks for the interest!
