Just thought i would look for opinions how many people would need a more correct 71 Stage -1 spec decal that goes on the radiator cover. The only other repro I have seen is junk and looks nothing like the original. It says Stage 1 on it which the original does not. I had a copy of my original cleaned up by a computer graphics person and may decide to have stickers made up unless someone knows of a better copy already on the market. I do not know if I could get in trouble with GM trademark probs. I would obviously not make much as I know there is a limited market. My copy is almost exact with only one or two minor differences because of the computer print. I also need a printer in the Massachusets or NH area that can print on proper material. Any opinions or need? I need one for myself anyway and don't want to go through the trouble if another exists. The last one I bought from Osborne a few years ago was not even close. I dont know what they copied it from.
Send Osborne a good copy of your sticker and he will be glad to reproduce the correct original. I know he is backed up on production.
Ok I hope to find a local printer this spring. I could send to Osborne but i would rather not lose it in the mail. Cost depends on printing.
I would like a correct looking one as well. You know what we REALLY need though??? How about a trunklid jack instruction decal that doesn't look it was photocopied on a copier missing ink.....bought one from Year One NO WAY will I put that POS on my trunklid... later Tim
