https://reno.craigslist.org/cto/d/sparks-1971-buick-gs-stage/7648271806.html Loaded w/options. Possibly a zone car? Seems like a pretty good deal if as advertised.
All “correct code for stage 1“ drive train, but… What about Vin number matching the drivetrain components? Steering shaft? All of the other markings that we know identify the car as a big block car or a stage one car. I call BS until some sort of documentation is produced. We all know that 71 cars are not “as advertised” until the paper shows up.
I have reached out to the owner with a bunch of questions, we'll see if he responds. I'll post the info here if I hear something back from him. I too think this is a good deal, even if not a true Stage1. It appears to be in really good shape.
Could’ve been in a minor accident at one time, the bumper and trunk are misaligned on the passenger side a the N 25 bumpers are sticking out to far. Either way, it’s a car to check out if you’re local.
And just like that, IT'S SOLD! Word from the seller to me. He has 3 buyers waiting in the wings if the one who is supposed to pick it up tomorrow backs out.
Engine vin and OW trans vin match body. Not perfect, but very restorable, solid Zone car. Runs like a Stage 1 should too!
