I stumbled on this skylark and just wondered if anyone needed anything from it for next time I go out there. The fenders are dented but rust free I believe, I could try to take some photos next time I'm out there. The inner fender passenger side is rusted stuck with the battery tray, and the interior is green. Dash bezzel is broken.
I could use the hood latch. I'll pay $15 including shipping as long as it's not pitted up or bent up.
Phil... Think I may have a couple more latches I can part with,may be a week or so till I get to the third garage I have taken over though..lol
Is it a non-a/c car? If so and it has the heater hose bracket (a clip the is shaped like a narrow "U" and holds the heater hoses off the passenger side of the engine) I need the bolt and washer for that. What other cars are in the yard? Thanks :TU:
I'd have to take a second look for that one, send me a phone no. that I can try to reach you at when I'm out there or something, chances are it won't be a third time lucky out there.
It's at a pick a part in Burbank, next to memory lane. It's on Pendleton ave. There's also another large yard close to it.
Hood latch, I'll take a look. I think it might still be there, and there was not any rust in that area, could be good.
I believe it is an a/c car, other cars in that yard was a 70 wildcat/electra conv, now gone. In another yard there are two 73 electras, one that has been there for a long time, and another new one that is totally stripped.
Detent cable is the cable headed down to the tranny from the accel pedal. Not the cable going out to the carb. BTW thanks for your effort in looking for this stuff for everyone. Gene
skylark parts Kimson, I am looking for a good front hood edge trim piece. If this car's hood is still there I might take that off your hands. Of course, a picture would tell all. Thanks. Dean
Went out there yesterday, car was gone. So was the two 73 electras at another yard close by, so I came back empty handed
