Good day, all, Q here with a freshly listed Centurion for your perusal. At $2,500, this would appear to be a fair deal, though, of course, I haven't a clue when it comes to Buick pricing. Still, worth a look. http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&nid=443&tab=list/view&ad=4279808
Thanks for posting. The typical buyers remorse car. Not worth $2500. Heck, I doubt if he paid $1000 for it. I bought a running/driving big valve 73 Centurion 2 door coupe off Mike Sobotka for $1500. This is a four door with an engine knock. Four door Centurions are kind of rare, but not so desirable, hence a person should not have to pay more then $1000 for one. This guy is dreaming of making money off his car that he now regrets buying.
Thanks for the info, it's good to know. Personally, I look at a car for the body and interior more than anything. Perhaps that's rather stupid, but it would seem to me that engines are considerably cheaper to restore/rebuild than...well, the rest of the car.
This car is in my registry...almost bought it in IL for $1800 a few years ago. It is a W code (big valve heads). http://www.buickcenturion.com/1972/seamist_green_4door1/
And it's a cool car. Just not at $2500 with an engine knock. A friends mom had a dark green 72 4 door Centurion as her daily driver in the late seventies and that is what got me going on Centurions.
