I've seen this Buick pop up on craigslist for a while now with no takers. Looks like a nice car though I think he is asking too much. If it were a GS I would be all over it.

The car came in on a trade if you can believe it. Its at Atlantic Toyota on Sunrise highway in Amityville. I dont have to tell you that Toyota got the better end of the bargain on that one! They've had it for sale for quite a while. No doubt because of the price.

I saw the car in the shop when it was on the lift. It has a montrous amount of thick undercoating on it. Looks ugly, but it probably saved the floors and frame. From what I remember it looked solid underneath. I didnt have a chance to look over the top part. Looked like a sweet car from what I saw. I think theyre asking a bit much for it IMO. 17 thou is a bit steep. Funny, but I seem to recall them asking 16k a few months ago. Wierd, why would the price go up if its been for sale for so long?

    >>Hi Jason,
Wow! A trade in?! I would not have traded that car in for any Toyota! You are right Jason, I've been watching this Buick since I first saw it pop up on craigslist and it was previously listed a little cheaper. I emailed the guy when it was first offered and he seemed pretty firm on his price.

Hmm, I wonder if I could trade in my 06 Toyota Camry for the 72 Convertible?:Brow:

The ad says it's got 66,000 miles and "never seen snow, rain, or sun". Does that mean it was only driven at night? :idea2:

Beautiful car though. My Sun Coupe has a lot of undercoating on it as well. I agree that it helped to save the floors, etc. as mine are very solid as well.

Wow, buckets. Must be an SCO car, if they're original.

I emailed him about it but never got around to seeing it though. Too many irons in the fire. He had it up a couple of months ago and it "sold" for 4051. Look at his feedback and you'll see it. The buyer left him positive feedback about it too :puzzled: Like the sale was completed. I have a feeling that his buddy was shilling it up for him and it backfired.
