BigBlock68 Love that old car smell.

My dad's got a '72 Cutlass Supreme Vert and the stone shield (that part that separates the two grill halves) broke a few months back. I'm looking at either ordering a new one from Fusick or The Parts Place. Fusick is about $30 cheaper and I just wanted to know if its the same quality as the piece from TPP? I hate ordering a cheaper part and having it turn out to be a POS.

I would always buy from Fusick over TPP even if the price was the same. :beers2:

    Nick,
Fusick has always sold top of the line pieces, and was often instrumental in getting parts reproduced in the first place. You never have to worry about them.

Thanks guys, that's good to know. I know Fusick is a top Olds supplier, the $30 difference just threw me off. The phrase, "you get what you pay for" always comes to mind when I see a cheap price.

You should also be able to order a new GM Stone Shield from your local dealer---Part Number 410642.

Give that a try if you have a local dealer that gives you good prices on parts.

always buy from Fusick versus TPP. Or do like Patton said and check you GM dealer.

quality and TPP in the same sentence. Thats gotta be a first. I've seen a bunch of TPP reproduced items and I've yet to be impressed. I've also read all the stories about people trying to install those parts and it's always, it requires a bit of work to get them to fit.

Washer fluid bottle I bought from them seemed to fit just fine. :Do No:
