I am SERIOUSLY looking for the following >> '72 455 block, preferably Stage 1 stamp, Oct or Nov '71 dates would be great, will pay top dollar for the right block, my original block/heads/intake/trans is somewhere in Calif, finders fee will be paid. '72 455 iron heads, updated to Stage 1 would be great, will accept ported heads if done right, with good parts. Casting date not important, but cool if Sept-Nov '71, (aluminum head upgrade guys pay attention here..) '72 Stage 1 auto carb and Stage 1 distributor, once again I will pay fair price, date code not important, no restamps. Jim, Since your car was from California.....I assume it was built there??? If so, your car should have the AIR set-up. I know where a 72 is that has the intake with the AIR provision. I may go there next Sat and see if the manifold is still there. Let me know what you find out. I will need your reply no later than 11pm Friday Eastern. Jim, I would possibly consider selling a few of the 72 Stage 1 parts you are looking for. I have 2 Stage 1 cars, one coupe and one conv., neither of which are numbers matching. So I have picked up some of the stuff here and there over the years. Tim tcarson@vcn.com
Heads I have a set of 72 or 73 Stage 1 heads. I don't know for certain which year they are. What casting numbers are you looking for? I can check the numbers on them today if you want. Let me know. Steve

cast iron 455 exhaust manifolds have the manifolds for 72-74 455 motor, they may have broken stud but can be drilled or zert fit with thread insert. no cracks, left and right. Will trade for nice set of 455 fender markers , or 50 for set, will be at BCA Nats in Rochester this thursday, fri, sat. let me know craig, ship may be costly due to weight.
72 Stage 1 parts and 71 carb Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I have a 72 Stage 1 intake, and exhaust manifolds, plus a 71 stock Q-jet. Please bear w/ me this is new to me.
