That's my ex girlfriends car! Went out with this girl from 87-90. Still have a pic of it when it was burnished cinnamon

It's a '71. Was for sale a couple/few years ago in VA. Very neat that it was orig. ordered w/perf. axle posi (3.42 I believe). Those cars, esp. w/the M-21 (should've been equipped OE w/M-20) really needed the extra gearing.

I'd prefer it in the orig. color but super rare car. Oddly enough, the only two '71 GSs I've owned were Burnished Cinnamon so this one would keep the trend going.

I didn't realize how rare they were till after I parted the one I had out...it was a red over black buckets..342..f41...4speed..non ac...tach..gages..tilt...sport wheel...15x7s....consolette was just too rough imo

Most of them were beat to death & parted. Of those that weren't, many were converted to 455.

I parted one back in the late 80's. Even the one I have now was practically left for dead & nobody in their right mind would consider restoring. Super oddball one though - Very low option & SCO 3.64. Two-tone green (Seamist w/Sherwood top).

Was definitely an engineering oversight. Even the '70 with more HP/TQ & 3.23 w/M-21 was marginal and probably should've had a M-20.

I think my oddball 71 GS350 4 speed also has low options.

The only option on my GS included P/S, 4 speed, 8 track and black painted top.

I'd love to see it someday. I know it's got a 455 now but besides maybe some basket case (like mine, lol), prob. the only orig. paint '70-72 350 4-sp car out there.

I still have the original 350 engine on an engine stand for a future build.
I will be putting it back into the car in the future after I get my 72 GS455 back on the road.
It's just more fun shifting with the 462 in it!

Sold. $25,600. Not bad for a '71 350 car. Makes me feel a little better about my 350 cars. Screenshot_20231206_121816.jpg
